An Interactive Storefront Experience.
TD Bank had a goal to reduce their paper consumption by 20% in three years time and protect two acres of forest habitat each and every day. That’s an area larger than New York’s Central Park in just the first year. To illustrate this continued effort of TD’s environmental initiative, we turned their 5th Avenue storefront in Manhattan into an interactive virtual forest. Using touch sensors connected to digital screens behind the glass, we invited New Yorkers to get up close and personal with the woodlands and wildlife TD helps protect. We also installed viewfinders around New York, which transported viewers from urban sprawl into a video walk-through of our forest habitat, featuring information about what TD is doing to protect it. Both installations welcomed nearly 70,000 participants to take a break from the cityscape and see how TD is making banking—and New York—a little greener.
