A Nonpartisan Tierney Project.
Philadelphia was playing host to the historic 2016 Democratic National Convention. So we dropped something just as historic: a line of one-of-a-kind, Philly-inspired footwear aimed at helping the city’s homeless. With the help of sneaker artist Elom Bowman (aka Ecentrik Artistry) and our own Tierney team, we created and displayed our Run DNC sneaks online and in-store with partner Lapstone & Hammer. The shoes took no political stand (that's why each pair had a left and a right), but all sales did benefit a local nonprofit, Back on My Feet, which uses running to help Philly’s homeless actively pursue a life off the streets.
This patriotic logo was inspired by our city’s iconic Liberty Bell crack and by Philly native Betsy Ross’ original American flag. With its red, white and blue. Sporty stripes. And circle of stars.
